We had a closing this past Friday on 2404 Margate. This was a real "find" for the buyer as the sellers had completely renovated the interior to include bamboo wood flooring, upgraded carpeting, granite tops, new furniture, and much more. The sellers decided to take advantage of the market and purchase a four bedroom "02" floorplan in the same building before the prices really swing back to the other side of One Million dollars. The sellers had used 2404 as a second home spending nearly half the year here. One of the striking features about the residence was the 70" Flat Screen TV. Rather than taking it with them to the other residence in the same building, they decided to leave it as a possible incentive for new buyers. Well, it was. But, the view from the 24th floor looking all the way to the Wilmington harbor was also a selling point, I am sure. The lesson to be learned from this sale is that the finer the "appointments," the better chance of selling. By the way, the sellers ended up buying a new 80" flat screen TV as a welcome gift in the new place! We welcome the new buyers to Kingston Plantation and are happy to have the sellers remaining here.
